Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio, is highly recognized for its outstanding faculty and state-of-the art laboratories. Clark State offers more than 50 degrees and certificates that prepare students to enter high-paying and rewarding careers or to transfer to baccalaureate institutions for completion of a four-year degree. More than 50 percent of our students who transfer to baccalaureate institutions come from our technical programs.

Clarks State’s Business and Applied Technologies Division offers degrees, certificates and courses in pre-engineering transfer, computer aided design, manufacturing engineering technology, industrial maintenance technology, electrical maintenance, mechanical, fluid power, electronics, robotics, programmable logic controllers, CNC, advanced manufacturing computer integrated systems technology, Six Sigma/Black Belt, agriculture engineering technology, software development, network design and administration, network security, wireless systems, Oracle database development and administration.

Clark State’s advanced manufacturing lab has over $1 million in new equipment for state-of-the art hands on training. We are an approved provider for Microsoft, Cisco, and Novell training.

Through the Clark State Tech Prep consortium, area high school students can enter Tech Prep programs that give them the opportunity to begin preparing for high skill, high pay careers in these fields while also completing college-prep academics. These students have the opportunity to earn college credits at Clark State while still in high school and to qualify for Clark State scholarships.

The College’s engineering and computer technologies programs serve the needs of traditional-age college students, career-changing adults, and individuals who need to upgrade skills for career advancement. Clark State’s Business and Industry Division also provides specialized training for area companies.
